The rates below are what I charge for most moves.

and multiple flights of stairs may affect the rate a bit).
Within Chapel Hill/Carrboro:

One mover:
$50 for the first load (2 hour limit)
$35 for a second load (1.5 hour limit)
$25 for a third load, and any additional loads (1 hour limit per load)
Two movers:
$90 for the first load (2 hour limit)
$75 for a second load (1.5 hour limit)
$50 for a third load, and any additional loads (1 hour limit per load)
*A one-load move in Chapel Hill/Carrboro takes about 50 minutes, so it is very unlikely that your move will go over the time limit. If it does, I ask just $7 per person for each quarter hour over the allotted time.

*A one-load move in the Triangle area rarely takes more than 2 hours.
Should this happen, I only ask $7 per person for each quarter hour over the allotted time.

- moving blankets, shrink wrap, and plastic mattress bags
- heavy duty ratchet straps, to secure your belongings in transit
- padded covers tailored to fit couches, love seats, washers,dryers, and fridges
- a hand truck rated at 600lbs; for boxes and other heavy items
- an appliance dolly rated at 800lbs; for refrigerators, washers/dryers, and very heavy furniture
- various platform dollies with carpeted or rubber surfaces, rated at 800-1000 lbs
- large jobs are no problem, as I have many able-bodied friends who help me out!
