I’m a 2009 UNC-Chapel Hill graduate with a B.A. Interpersonal/Organizational Communications. During my time at UNC and after graduation, I represented Carolina with pride in several student service positions. Since graduating, I have applied unsuccessfully for several permanent positions. I am now assessing my graduate school options.

• Provided moving services substantially cheaper than competitors’, while still maintaining compliance with North Carolina Utilities Commission regulations

• Directed the use of Campus Y vehicles, assuring reliable transportation for hundreds of student volunteers
• Communicated with volunteer leaders on an ongoing basis to ensure efficient use of limited transportation options by the Campus Y’s eighteen student organizations
• Collaborated with other university departments in securing additional vehicles in the case of mechanical breakdowns or increased ridership

• In over five years of employment, I worked in all major departments. Starting on dish crew at age fourteen, I moved to wait staff and later host, cook’s helper, receiving, transportation, special catered events, and more
• Consistently chosen to work important functions such as Board of Directors dinners, exclusive functions at the President of Kanuga’s private residence, and the visit of former Archbishop and Nobel Peace Prizerecipient, Desmond Tutu.
• Chosen to serve the 103rd Arch Bishop of Canterbury, Lord Carey of Clifton, during the 2001 gathering of Anglican leaders representing over 80 million church members in over 160 countries

Activities & Interests
• Served as a T-Links mentor, assisting incoming transfer students with their transition to UNC by introducing them to campus policies and resources. I also served as a peer mentor for the Carolina Covenant scholarship program
• Tutored 2nd-5th grade students in over fifty hours of math and reading during after-school study programs
• Actively involved in the Carolina Covenant Scholars program, including collaborating with UNC administrators and outside consultants in developing a personal finance workshop for the program
